Le Corbusier said that ‘the house must be the case of life, the machine of happiness’. In this respect, we formulate our lamps as pencils in such a case, as beautiful and functional compasses that are part of a whole: the universe that makes up the daily life of the anthropos.

A beam of light crosses the space, capturing thousands of anarchic dust particles in a static pose, trapped within the powerful performance of a lamp. A creation in which one perceives a trace, a heritage, the heraldic line of a gesture that mutates, from a pencil in frenetic movement to the expert hand that masters a material in its struggle for artistic creation. 

From the 2nd to the 5th of September, a·emotional light had the opportunity to participate in the Spanish Design Meeting and Technical Conference in Taipei, an event organised by ICEX and the Taiwan Design Research Institute.

For some time now, the course of history, arts and design seems to have changed its ethos. The expansion of globalisation as a worldwide process, shared equally in all parts of the world, has generated a set of movements that seek to embrace the local as a response to the overwhelming global reality. We are increasingly opting for what is closest to us, not only as a matter of sustainability, but also as a way of approaching the universal whole.
