Le Corbusier said that ‘the house must be the case of life, the machine of happiness’. In this respect, we formulate our lamps as pencils in such a case, as beautiful and functional compasses that are part of a whole: the universe that makes up the daily life of the anthropos.

A beam of light crosses the space, capturing thousands of anarchic dust particles in a static pose, trapped within the powerful performance of a lamp. For some time now, the course of history, arts and design seems to have changed its ethos. The expansion of globalisation as a worldwide process, shared equally in all parts of the world, has generated a set of movements that seek to embrace the local as a response to the overwhelming global reality. We are increasingly opting for what is closest to us, not only as a matter of sustainability, but also as a way of approaching the universal whole.

Art, in its purest form, is a reflection of the experiences, milieus and passions that shape those who create and appreciate it. Miriam Pérez is the person behind the Galería Vilaseco, a space with more than a decade of history in A Coruña, founded as a result of the passion for art that her mother instilled in her as a child.

In a world where mass production and automation dominate the marketplace, the allure of handmade beauty remains timeless and irresistible.
Market cuisine and a twist on traditional, old-fashioned food. This is how chef Iago Pazos has been making a name for himself in the world of cooking and catering, fusing artisanal techniques with contemporary influences to create memorable gastronomic experiences.
At a·emotional light, emotion takes on a value of its own. The value of the handmade, the unique and the exclusive. For us, light is a means to evoke emotions, just like music or art. This vision is what leads us to understand our designs as tailor-made creations, individually handcrafted pieces, designed to illuminate spaces, people and moments.
A light that plays with the soul and seeks to awaken a sensorial language in those people and spaces with which it interacts. A light that seeks to transcend the physical plane to manifest, through emotions, a philosophy rooted in our core values.
What happens when contemporary design finds a foothold in folklore, tradition and nature? We plunge into the world of Cenlitros looking for answers; a design studio that builds its identity from the particularities of Galicia and that, since its birth in 2006, has explored the intersection between artisanal tradition and contemporary innovation, creating pieces that reflect the essence of the natural and cultural environment of the region.
It is well known that artistic disciplines feed off each other and, in our opinion, design is to a large extent like gastronomy. Haute cuisine is an art, a sensorial experience that helps us to overcome our animal condition and in which each part of the process plays a fundamental role in the final result. However, if we have learned anything from gastronomy here in Galicia, it is that what really makes the difference is the quality of the product. Technique is universal, but the choice of materials is the differentiating factor that determines excellence.READ MORE
