Poetic light: complex forms for pure architectures

Poetic light: complex forms for pure architectures

In the world of lighting, a·emotional light‘s lamps stand out for a quality that transcends the functional: their ability to tell stories by means of light.

Our collections are born from a combination of craftsmanship, design and a profoundly human approach that makes lighting an emotional experience. Our catalogue is made up of lamps that seek to impact spaces with their poetic nature, either from a more prominent or complementary presence, creating atmospheres that connect with the essentials of nature and contemporary architecture.

The craftsmanships that define the a·emotional light collections are based on complex shapes inspired by organic patterns typical of the natural world. Folds, curves and textures that reflect the influence of nature on our designers, as a sort of extension of living still lifes. This formal complexity is not an aesthetic whim, but the result of a manual process in which the steel mesh, glass or natural materials we use are transformed into unique designs. The light, as it passes through these forms, generates shadows and reflections that spread through the spaces, enveloping them in an interplay of light that evokes the dynamism and mystery of the natural world.

Parga Collection

Poetic design for pure architectures.

In contemporary spaces, where pure lines and minimalist materials predominate, a·emotional light lamps provide a dose of poetic accompaniment. Their organic complexity does not interfere with the architectural sobriety, as the sinuous shapes and light effects transform these architectures into canvases in which the lamps take centre stage, entering into dialogue with the space and redefining the atmosphere present. The formal complexity of our lamps translates into a visual language that dialogues with contemporary architectures and spaces with pure lines. Inspired by the principles of the modern movement, these architectures, characterised by the use of glass, geometric shapes, reinforced concrete and sparse ornamentation, find in a·emotional light‘s luminaires an organic counterpoint that enriches their aesthetics. It is in these environments where our luminaires come to life, projecting patterns of light and shadow that transform the space, enveloping it and endowing it with a unique atmosphere.

Nebra Collection

A clear example of this integration are models such as Coral, Nebra or Tempo, whose structures, handcrafted with painted stainless steel mesh, create textures and light patterns that fill different environments with life, contributing substantially to the creation of a visual narrative that connects the user with nature and emotion. Likewise, projects such as the Civic Centre O Romaño in Santiago de Compostela, where V and Fluo contribute their particular lighting language, or this other design project for a private residence, also in Santiago de Compostela, which incorporates our Arc, Ballet and Hipatia collections, demonstrate how these collections enrich diverse architectures with their ability to generate warm and expressive atmospheres.

The poetics of our lamps also lies in their ability to generate an immersive light, filtered like the intrinsic porosity of dawn light. Far from being direct or aggressive, the lighting they provide is diffused in a soft and warm way, caressing the surfaces and filling the space with nuances. This type of lighting is ideal for creating intimate and cosy atmospheres, whether in a home or in a commercial space.

Light thus becomes a language that connects architecture with those who inhabit the spaces; the nexus that articulates the alliance between theory and practice, form and function. In interior design projects where a balance between functionality and emotion is sought, a·emotional light lamps provide that touch of uniqueness.

Hipatia Collection

Human design, universal essence

Beyond their aesthetics, a·emotional light’s lamps reflect a commitment to human design. Each piece is the result of a deep reflection on how light impacts our lives and how it can be an element that transcends the material. This handcrafted and emotional approach makes the collections a bridge between the tangible and the intangible, the functional and the poetic. In a world where speed and technology often overshadow the essential, these lamps remind us of the importance of pause, of contemplation, of the feeling that permeates the details within human existence. They are, in essence, a celebration of light as a source of life and beauty.
